Pre-recorded a couple nights before broadcast, they discuss topics including how tired they are, Emily’s work with critical, uncooperative kids in public school dance classes, renovating an iris bed, lawn mower phobia, the challenges of recording a radio show while tethered to a wall phone, baby head size, a micro-cell adventure and bats in the studio, weekend entertainment at a rural road rally, the enigma of wanting to always leave parties early, brain pinching, using tennis rackets to trap errant wildlife, shamanic rebirth, Memorial Day confusion, driving illegally on studded snow tires in May, a tick-in-scotch-tape display,  and so much more!

The show features tracks from Kristina’s personal archive, including songs recorded by her Dad in the 1940s, as well as other off-beat and one-of-a-kind project recordings, captured in her studio [Pepperbox Studio, Chelsea, VT]. Selected segments from the 11th Hour’s flagship show in May of 2013, co-hosted by Emily and Kristina, complete the mix.

Featured tracks:  Joseph Stycos [three songs in Greek and Spanish]; Kristina Stykos [Ready for the Times]; Freya Yost [Time to Fall]; Anna Snipes [Take Your Hat]; Nobody Knows You When You’re Down and Out [Michael Millard]; Derrick Semler [Blues – Untitled/Twins]; Dylan Waller [Suzanne]; Josh Rivera [How Can I Feel]; The Barn Band [Listening to Levon].
